Founded in 2002, our laboratory conducts research in wired and embedded wireless networking systems and theory.
Our past contributions have spanned research on Internet routing, peer-to-peer systems, and Internet measurement.
Our current focus is on networked sensing systems, an exciting new technology with many new applications. We design:
- novel networking architectures for networked sensing,
- sensor network databases and routing schemes,
- new programming languages for wireless sensors, and
- mobile sensing applications on networked smartphones.
We also collaborate with researchers from other disciplines to study interesting applications of sensor networks.
